Usyk put on a performance of a lifetime, as he outboxed Joshua over twelve rounds to capture the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight titles with a unanimous decision.  Joshua, who is now looking to activate his rematch clause, had this to say after the fight:  "I can't go back and sulk - that's wasting time. Adeniji Inflex share this story on 27th of Sep 2021 The international fraud case allegedly involving embattled police officer,  Abba Kyari will reportedly last 6 days in court.    Recall that six persons were indicted for various roles in a $1.1 million fraud case reportedly cordinated by Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi.    It was gathered that three of the defendants; Rukayat Fashola (aka Morayo), Bolatito Agbabiaka (aka Bolamide), and Yusuf Anifowoshe (aka AJ and Alvin Johnson) arrested in the United States and subsequently released on bail, have asked that their trial be postponed to May 2022.   The other defendants which prosecutors say are outside the U.S. and "at large" are  Mr Kyari, Abdulrahman Juma, and Kelly Chibuzo Vincent.    Prosecutors along with the three available defendants filed an application for the postponement of the trial from October 2021 to 17 May, 2022 on Friday.    Premium Times reported that in the application filed at the U.S. Dis

Adeniji Inflex share this story on 27th of Sep 2021 The Kwara State Police Command has arrested a suspected ritualist who allegedly abducted and killed a 9-year-old girl, Faith Samuel, for money ritual in Onireke, Offa Local Government Area of the state.    The suspect, Alade James, 25, of Alawe compound, Offa, is said to have killed the victim and buried her with a N1000 note.    It was gathered that he ran out of luck after some residents got wind of the incident and alerted the police on Saturday, September 25.    Spokesperson of the command, Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the incident said the suspect has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court after the completion of investigation.   Okasanmi also confirmed that the corpse was buried with the money adding that ‘investigation is still ongoing.’   “At about 1812hrs of Saturday, acting on an actionable intelligence, a team of police men arrested a man by name Alade James of Alawe compound Offa, who buried a corpse with N10

Joshua who faces Aleksandr Usyk this weekend to defend his IBO, IBF and WBA crowns at first didn't want to choose who he feels will win the fight between his fellow Brit, Fury and American boxer, Wilder but later suggested a potential Wilder win.   He said: “If I had to, I don’t know. I’m not too bothered. Look, because you’ve asked the question, let’s go with Wilder because he seems obsessed, like he really wants it. Adeniji Inflex share this story on 17th of Sep 2021 An Alabama woman was arrested after allegedly fighting an 11-year-old she suspected of bullying her child.   Nannatt Waldrop, 37, is accused of boarding a yellow bus in the town of Center Point at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday morning, September 14, and getting in a fight with the 11-year-old she believed was picking on her child, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.   A video of the incident went viral and brought it to the attention of authorities, who arrested Waldrop. It's unknown if the child suffered any injuries.   The Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools, Dr. Walter Gonsoulin, condemned the incident. Part of the intelligence indicated that suspected internet fraudsters were operating from Castle Majestic Hotel, Enugu. Based on the intelligence, and weeks of surveillance, a search warrant was executed on the facility on Thursday September 16, 2021.     In the course of the operation, the operatives encountered a group that identified themselves as members of the National Association of Nigerian students, NANS and Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth wing. Adeniji Inflex share this story on 4th of Sep 2021 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has said that Lekki, the fast-developing upper middle-class area of Lagos Metropolis, is emerging as the new hub of internet-related fraud.   A statement released by the agency says data from the investigation activities of the Lagos Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for the second quarter of 2021, indicates that Lekki District is the preferred location for all manner of cyber fraud syndicates. Between April and June, 2021, the Advance Fee Fraud and Cyber Crime Sections of the Command recorded a total of 402 internet-related fraud arrests. While the Advance Fee Fraud Section was responsible for 243 arrests, the Cyber Crime Section executed 18 sting operations which resulted in 159 arrests, from which 13 convictions have so far been recorded. Of the 159 suspects arrested by the Cyber Crime Section, 70 are from Lekki, comprising communities such as Ajah, Bador

  Adeniji Inflex share this story on 4th of Sep 2021 A Nigerian man named Bamidele Muraina has been sentenced to 70 months in prison over $2.6m fraud in the U.S.   35-year-old Bamidele, better known as Dele Ewe, was also ordered by a U.S. court to pay $561,125.62 in restitution.   His conspirator, Gabriel Kalembo, 33, of Zambian, was sentenced to 50 months in prison and ordered to pay $298,008.71 in restitution.   A statement released by the U.S Justice Department said, "Bamidele Muraina, a Nigerian national who hacked into tax preparation firms and filed fraudulent unemployment benefit claims and tax returns using stolen personally identifiable information, and Gabriel Kalembo, a previously convicted fraudster who laundered the fraudulent assets, have been sentenced to federal prison."   Acting U.S. Attorney Kurt R. Kazeem said driving requires total concentration and road users should not take any risk on their lives. He said it is illegal to make calls or receive same while driving, according to the National Road Traffic Regulations, 2012.   “It is illegal.
