Adeniji Inflex share this story on 30th of Oct 2022 Lagos State Government is set to implement a ban on the sale of plastic bottled drinks exposed to the sunlight.   This was disclosed by the General Manager of, Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), Mr Afolabi Solebo.    Solebo said the decision was taken because plastic bottled drinks exposed to continuous sunlight are dangerous to health and very cancerous. He also revealed that there are plans to carry out a public enlightenment campaign.    He said;   “Plastic bottled drinks exposed to continuous sunlight are dangerous to health and very cancerous. Therefore, it will be part of our public enlightenment between now and the end of the year. “So that by 2023, we will not only confiscate such drinks but we will prosecute people that are displaying those products under sunlight. “We also want to have a stakeholders’ meeting with manufacturers of those bottled drinks so as to get alternatives for dummy of the products for distributors to

Adeniji Inflex share this story on 30th of Oct 2022 Men of the Ogun state police command have arrested a notorious member of the dreaded Eiye confraternity, Olamide Olabode, while he was on his way to launch an attack with other members of his group.   Confirming the arrest, the command's spokesperson, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested on October 23 at Oke-Iganmu area of Ilaro/Papalanto road, while the patrol team from Ilaro division was on routine patrol of the area and sighted the suspect and two others on a Bajaj motorcycle.   According to Oyeyemi the suspect who was sitting at the back quickly jumped down from the motorcycle and ran into the bush with a bag.   “He was hotly chased and arrested, while the other two sped off on the motorcycle. On searching the bag with him, two locally made short guns, four live cartridges, one knife and weeds suspected to be indian hemp were recovered there in. Adeniji Inflex share this Story on 30th of Oct 2022 The Central Bank of Nigeria says the redesigning of some of the naira denominations is in the overall best interest of every citizen.   The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, on Tuesday, disclosed that the N200, N500, and N1000 notes will be redesigned.   He said the redesigned notes will be released on December 15, 2022 and that the old notes will cease to be legal tenders on January 31, 2023.   In a statement released on its Facebook page this evening, the CBN mentioned that the redesigning of the notes is in the overall best interest of every citizen.   His post reads ''CBN insists it followed the law, due process for Naira redesign, says exercise is 12 years overdue. Well... Nope. Posted by Adeniji Inflex 💠 on 4th October 2022 Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly be allowed to leave Manchester United in January after questions were again raised about his future following the club's Sunday's embarrassing 6-3 derby defeat against Manchester City.   The former Real Madrid striker was left on the bench at the Etihad Stadium with United boss Erik ten Hag insisting he didn't bring the Portuguese on out of respect for his career.   Former Reds captain turned pundit Roy Keane blasted his former side for disrespecting the 37-year-old who wanted away in the summer transfer window.   However, Ten Hag and club officials are now willing to negotiate a move as Ronaldo targets a mid-season January exit, as reported by The Telegraph.   Ronaldo has played just 80 minutes in the Premier League since being refused the chance to leave Old Trafford and has instead been relegated to the bench. Posted by Adeniji Inflex 💠 on 3rd October 2022 A United States Central District Court in California has again, postponed the sentencing of alleged fraudster, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, for the fourth time.   According to a court’s notice obtained by Premium Times, the trial judge, Otis Wright, has fixed 7 November, 2022, as the new date to sentence Hushpuppi.   “COUNSEL ARE NOTIFIED, the Sentencing is CONTINUED to November 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. as to Defendant Ramon Olorunwa Abbas,” the court’s announcement shifting the sentencing read.   The sentence hearing was initially moved by Judge Wright from 14 February to 11 July before shifting it to 21 September and now 7 November.   Hushpuppi, 39, was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirate (UAE) in June 2020 alongside 12 others over allegations bordering on hacking, impersonation, scamming, banking fraud, identity theft and was extradited to the US for prosecution.   His extradition to the United States had followed aft
