Adeniji Inflex share this story on 30th of Oct 2022 Lagos State Government is set to implement a ban on the sale of plastic bottled drinks exposed to the sunlight.   This was disclosed by the General Manager of, Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), Mr Afolabi Solebo.    Solebo said the decision was taken because plastic bottled drinks exposed to continuous sunlight are dangerous to health and very cancerous. He also revealed that there are plans to carry out a public enlightenment campaign.    He said;   “Plastic bottled drinks exposed to continuous sunlight are dangerous to health and very cancerous. Therefore, it will be part of our public enlightenment between now and the end of the year. “So that by 2023, we will not only confiscate such drinks but we will prosecute people that are displaying those products under sunlight. “We also want to have a stakeholders’ meeting with manufacturers of those bottled drinks so as to get alternatives for dummy of the products for distributors to

Adeniji Inflex share this Story on 30th of Oct 2022 The Central Bank of Nigeria says the redesigning of some of the naira denominations is in the overall best interest of every citizen.   The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, on Tuesday, disclosed that the N200, N500, and N1000 notes will be redesigned.   He said the redesigned notes will be released on December 15, 2022 and that the old notes will cease to be legal tenders on January 31, 2023.   In a statement released on its Facebook page this evening, the CBN mentioned that the redesigning of the notes is in the overall best interest of every citizen.   His post reads ''CBN insists it followed the law, due process for Naira redesign, says exercise is 12 years overdue. Well... Nope. Posted by Adeniji Inflex 💠 on 3rd October 2022 A United States Central District Court in California has again, postponed the sentencing of alleged fraudster, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, for the fourth time.   According to a court’s notice obtained by Premium Times, the trial judge, Otis Wright, has fixed 7 November, 2022, as the new date to sentence Hushpuppi.   “COUNSEL ARE NOTIFIED, the Sentencing is CONTINUED to November 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. as to Defendant Ramon Olorunwa Abbas,” the court’s announcement shifting the sentencing read.   The sentence hearing was initially moved by Judge Wright from 14 February to 11 July before shifting it to 21 September and now 7 November.   Hushpuppi, 39, was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirate (UAE) in June 2020 alongside 12 others over allegations bordering on hacking, impersonation, scamming, banking fraud, identity theft and was extradited to the US for prosecution.   His extradition to the United States had followed aft

Posted by Adeniji Inflex 💠 on 19 June, 2022 A church in South Africa has carried out a virginity test on unmarried female members and gave a certificate of virginity to each female who passed.   The test is said to be an effort to encourage chastity among the ladies in society.   The church identified as Nazareth Baptist Church is located at Ebuhleni, northern part of Durban in South Africa.   It was gathered that the church carried out a free virginity test on ladies who attend their church and are 18 years and above.     It is an annual event carried out by the church, and at the end of the exercise, a Certificate of Virginity is awarded to the successful ones.   Also, a white mark of purity is placed on the forehead of the virgins.     The test is usually conducted in the middle of every year and the certificate issued becomes invalid by the middle of the following year when the next virginity test is conducted by the church.   The test for the 2022/2023 session was conducted this

The Super Eagles of Nigeria international striker suffered a clash of heads with Inter defender Milan Skriniar that left him requiring major surgery in November 2021.
