WHO Suspends Hydroxychloroquine Trials Over Safety Concerns.

Nigeria records 229 new cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 229  new cases of the coronavirus in the country. In a tweet on Monday night, the NCDC shared that the new cases have taken the total number of infections in the country to 8068. The agency said 90 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos, 27 in Katsina, 26 in Imo, 23 in Kano, 14 in FCT,  12 in Plateau, 9 in Ogun, 7 in Delta, 5 in  Borno, 5 in Rivers, 4 in Oyo, 3 in Gombe, 2 in Osun, 1 in Anambra and 1 in  Bayelsa State.
Nigeria now has a total of 8068 cases of coronavirus, 2311 discharged patients and 233 death recorded.
