It is never a good sign in a presidential campaign when a candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive - International journalist, Jonathan Rosenthal reacts to Tinubu workout video

Jonathan Rosenthal, the Africa editor for international news platform, The Economist, has reacted to All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, sharing a workout video to dispel rumor of death. 

 

Tinubu had shared a video of him on a spin bike with the caption; 

 

Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well... Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.

 

Reacting to this, Rosenthal stated that it is never a good sign in a presidential campaign when a candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive.

 

Quoting Tinubu's workout video, he tweeted;

 

Oh dear, it is never a good sign in a presidential campaign when a candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive. #NigeriaDecides2023
